Queensland’s 6400 SES volunteers do a magnificent job – selflessly supporting their communities in time of need.

The SES can never have too many members – that’s why I’m urging anyone who wants to give to their community to speak to the local group, ring 1300 369 003 or visit www.emergency.qld.gov.au/ses

Since 2005-06, the Queensland Government has almost doubled its SES budget to $12.4 million and SES groups are also well-supported by local government.

I believe the SES shines a light on what is great about Queensland and Queenslanders. I hope this recruitment campaign attracts a new wave of SES members.
